Feeling inspired and uplifted, that is my goal. Drawn to the healing elements of gemstones and crystals, I set them into hammered sterling silver jewelry so they can be worn. Each aspect is carefully chosen, and each setting harmonizes. Painting for me, is Life’s story. Starting with a vibrantly colored canvas, thick paint is applied, scratches and scrapes seek out the original core color, more paint and more scratches. The end results are images that pulse with vitality and a touch of magic. My background in art comes from nature, graduate studies, and a teaching certification in Art. I have been an art teacher for decades and teach classes for adults and High School students. I am a member of VIVA Gallery Artist Cooperative and sell my pieces at galleries around the area. For many years I ran my own art store called Art Vision which was very popular, but I prefer to be hands on and creating these inspired works. My goal is to create art that makes you feel happy and vibrant on a daily basis.
